We want you to love your Gavel Handcrafted Boots. If for any reason they’re not the perfect fit, we’re here to help.

How to Start a Return or Exchange: 

  1. Email us at info@gavelboot.com with your Order Number and return or exchange details

                  OR

    2. Call our Customer Service team at (888)-460-9741 with your Order Number and return or exchange details

Once you’ve contacted us, you may use the return label (RS) included in your shipping box and drop your package off at any UPS location.

Return Eligibility 

To qualify for a return or exchange:

  • Items must be unworn and in original condition
  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase
  • Please try boots on indoors and on carpet only
  • No visible scuff marks, sole wear, or leather damage

Boots showing signs of wear, outdoor use, or irreversible leather damage are not eligible for return or exchange.

All returned items are carefully inspected upon arrival at our returns facility.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original form of payment
  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after your return has been approved. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank.
  • Refunds include the product purchase price only, unless the return is due to a defect or shipping error
  • Gavel Boots is not responsible for overdraft fees, interest charges, or bank fees related to refund timing.

Manufacturer’s Defect / Warranty

If your boots have a manufacturer’s defect, please contact us within 30 days of purchase.

After review, Gavel Boots will, at our discretion:

  • Repair
  • Replace (same or similar style)
  • Issue a full refund

For approved defective items:

          Original shipping and UPS Ground return shipping will be refunded

Shipping Information

Free Shipping:

  • Free Standard Ground Shipping on all orders over $75
  • Valid within the Continental United States (excludes Alaska & Hawaii)

Most orders arrive within 5–7 business days.

Same-Day Shipping

  • Orders placed before 2:00 PM CST (Monday–Friday) ship the same business day
  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM CST, on weekends, or holidays ship the next business day

Expedited Shipping

We offer:

  • UPS 2-Day Shipping
  • UPS Next Day Air

Rates are calculated at checkout.

Please note:

  • Expedited shipping is not available for PO Boxes
  • Gavel Boots is not responsible for carrier delays

Important Shipping Notes

  • Orders ship only after payment, address, and inventory are verified
  • Shipping confirmation is sent via email once your order leaves our facility
  • We ship to physical addresses only (no PO Boxes, except gift cards)

Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding holidays.

In-Store Pickup Available

You may pick up your order at our Brownsville location with proof of purchase.

Order Changes & Cancellations

  • Order changes or cancellations must be requested within 1 hour of purchase. 
  • Once shipped, orders cannot be changed or cancelled. 

Payment Information

  • Your card is not charged until your order ships.
  • Pending charges prior to shipment are authorization holds only.
  • For fraud protection, shipping information must match your card’s billing details. If verification fails, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
